As Suntory Global Spirits accelerates its global footprint, we are establishing our own commercial business in the UK. As one of the largest, most sophisticated spirits markets in the world, the UK offer significant  potential for our portfolio of premium brands. As Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role supporting the building of successful, mutually beneficial relationships with our Off Trade customers. Managing a team of 2, you will utilise your knowledge and experience to ensure you and your team meet customer needs while working in partnership with the Senior National Account Managers to help us grow our brands in line with our mission to be the worlds most admired premium spirits company.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure you and your team support the Senior National Account Managers in the execution of the commercial strategy for the assigned customers
  • Lead and develop your direct reports to be effective and efficient account support for customers and internal colleagues
  • Use data analysis and reporting to inform and support pricing and profitability ambition for the market in partnership with commercial marketing incorporating the long-term brand and business ambition
  • Support monthly/ quarterly and annual business performance review and forecasting. Understand how to analyse and report concisely on key metrics i.e. depletions, stock level, main activities for our brands and for competitors ad share best practice
  • Develop trusting and mutually beneficial relationships with distributors
  • Working collaboratively with supply chain to ensure successful customer deliveries
  • Act as the eyes and ears of our brands in key Off Trade stores, using your analytic expertise to identify where support or actions need to be taken by Off Trade account managers
  • Build close and effective partnerships with all enabling functions internally especially commercial marketing and finance partner
  • Champion compliance and professionalism. Keep well-informed of all relevant laws, regulations and policies and be comfortable to lead in crisis management situations
  • Support the delivery of RSVP3 goals annually (Range, Space, Visibility, Price, Promotion & Persuasion) at Account & store level
  • Value-added approach to sales & strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3+ years sales/commercial experience within Off Trade
  • Previous experience managing people or influencing and leading others
  • Understanding of the end to end supply and fulfilment process for grocery customers
  • A strong ability to forecast accurately and an attention to detail
  • Demonstrates ability to use data to inform and support commercial arguments
  • Able to distill multiple data sources in to insight and translate customer feedback in to actionable insight for Account Managers
  • Relationship management skills, able to work through customer issues calmly
  • Entrepreneurship and an eye for new opportunities
  • Well developed written & verbal communication, presentation skills
  • Result oriented Team player with a strong collaborative approach
  • Business and relationship Focused
  • Ability to work under pressure with a “can-do” attitude & resilience
