Premium Wine Advisor - Melbourne, Australia

About the role

The Premium Wine Advisor works closely in collaboration with the Penfolds Direct to Consumer sales and marketing team, using our Company’s websites and/or Cellardoor.co. This is a B2C phone-based role that will work across our entire product portfolio applying a tailored approach to grow profit and category.

  • Maximise sales opportunities with existing and new consumers by completing campaigns in full and on time
  • Ensure effective and timely communication, both written and verbal, with stakeholders
  • Utilise CRM within guidelines and process requirements
  • Achieve budgeted sales and volume targets
  • Translate relevant consumer activity into actionable activities and growth and analyse for future opportunities

 

About you

We are looking for an energetic team player who enjoys talking about wine and thrives in a high-paced work environment. You will have considerable experience dealing with various types of customers. Ideally, you will have exposure to sales, which could be direct to consumers in terms of retail or hospitality, or in business sales.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritise workload
  • Focus on customer centricity
  • Developed computer skills including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Sales and negotiation experience will be highly regarded
