What are we looking for?

We are looking for a results-driven sales professional to grow our wine sales across pubs, hotels and retail outlets, enhancing our reputation as a quality independent wine merchant with knowledge and expertise.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Build new distribution channels for Adnams Wines
  • Develop new and existing sales and partnerships
  • To identify opportunities to increase sales through customer service excellence
  • To provide a high level of product information and guidance to customers
  • Be an advisor, trainer and supporter to our retail store teams, enthusing passion and knowledge to ensure the team are selling the product accurately and confidently
  • Support the retail teams at customer-facing events.
  • Support the retail team with range curation, especially online and attend monthly Central Team Strategy meetings.
  • Be responsible for negotiation and agreement of costs and good with customers
  • Liaise with wine buyers to influence the range and support sales
  • Analysis of sales data to drive agreed targets

Candidates must have a valid UK driving licence and will have relevant sales or retail experience. The role requires a flexible approach and may involve some weekend and evening work.

Educated to WSET level, or studying towards is desirable.
