International Sales Support Executive
The Role:
We’re looking for a capable International Sales Support Executive to join this team to help grow the business even further, focussing on our non-UK clients.
You will work with our International Sales Director and Head of Sales & Marketing, in a rewarding and varied commercial administration role.
We are looking for a candidate who has a positive and proactive approach and enjoys working flexibly and under their own initiative, within a small team. You will help to implement our strategy to grow GAW’s substantial and growing export business.
We’re looking for someone with strong written as well as verbal communications skills who can contribute to marketing and social media activities
About you:
- You’ll ideally have a minimum of 2 years Sales Support experience within a competitive commercial environment
- Degree desirable
- Confidence and experience in dealing with international clients and suppliers at all levels
- An interest in wine is desirable
- Enjoy working collaboratively with everyone in a small team
- Happy to juggle varied administrative duties, you’re able to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Used to dealing positively with a variety of clients, suppliers, designers and agencies
- Articulate and presentable with a strong work ethic and upbeat attitude
- Computer literate with particular proficiency in Excel
- You’re bright and enthusiastic with a real ‘can do’ attitude, driven to achieve for yourself and the company
The Job:
- You will relish a broad and varied role that requires flexibility and the ability to juggle and adapt constantly
- Taking ownership of all key international client accounts, providing support to the sales team
- Processing and tracking orders
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with new and current customer, supplier and transporter contacts
- Monitoring weekly sales and stock levels to help clients maintain stock availability
- Ongoing product management (product specifications, vintage changes, artwork approval, liaison with designers for label artwork & ensuring wine labels meet legal requirements for different markets)
- Completing new tender forms when requested and organising samples for customers
- Providing holiday cover for other members of staff if necessary
