The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and personable Wine Retail Advisor & Wine Team Member to join our friendly and knowledgeable team. This is a hands-on role in our shop and retail operations, ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with customers, loves learning about wine, and thrives in a busy, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, knowledgeable and professional customer experience in-store.
• Advise customers on wine selections to suit their taste, occasion and budget.
• Support retail operations including stock replenishment, merchandising and store presentation.
• Assist with tastings, events and promotions, both in the shop and occasionally off-site.
• Accurately process sales and handle cash/card transactions.
• Support online order fulfilment and local deliveries as needed.
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and engaging team environment.

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for wine and great service (minimum WSET Level 2 required).

• Excellent communication and people skills, approachable, confident and customer-focused.

• Strong team player with a hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with good attention to detail and knowledge of computer based systems.

• Flexibility to work Saturdays and occasional evenings for events.
