Customer Service Specialist - London

Brown-Forman represents ‘Nothing Better in the Market’ and the Customer Services Specialist plays an important role in delivering Brown-Forman’s promise to its customers. This role ensures delivery of orders to B-F’s customers in the right quantity of product at the right time, in the right place and the right condition – this is done with exemplary customer care and passion for service delivery.

Meaningful Work From Day One

Join our team and play a pivotal role in serving our valued customers at Brown-Forman. You’ll be the heart of our customer service, building strong relationships, and handling customer requests and complaints. In order management, you’ll process and manage orders, collaborate with our sales team, and actively participate in problem-solving. You’ll also assist in product allocation, and demand planning, and participate in projects aimed at enhancing our service. This role offers a dynamic and fulfilling experience in a supportive environment.

This is an office/hybrid role with 3 days a week out of our fantastic modern office in central London in Fitzrovia.

What You Can Expect

  • Leads customer service tasks by responding to order requests, managing complaints, and building strong relationships with Brown-Forman’s customers and internal teams.
  • Handles efficient order management processes, including receiving, and processing orders through SAP.
  • Supports the sales team by providing crucial information on customers, discounts, and stock situations.
  • Partners with logistics providers and internal teams to ensure seamless order delivery and credit control.
  • Manages new customer setup in SalesForce and works with the master data team related to customers in SAP.
  • Assists in managing customer product allocation.
  • Participates actively in ad hoc project work aimed at improving Brown-Forman’s service to its customers.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Ideally with 1 year of experience in a fast-paced order fulfillment environment
  • Demonstrated an eye for detail and data accuracy with problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable, flexible, resilient with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills with current, or the ability to quickly build, proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated a can-do attitude, teamwork and positivity when dealing with challenging situations

What Makes You Unique

  • Ideally experienced with SAP 4 Hana or similar ERP systems
  • Ideally within Wines & Spirits or FMCG
  • Some exposure to the UK Supply Chain/Working with outsourced 3PL providers would be an advantage
  • Experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds
