Beavertown began life in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. In 2020 we opened BEAVERWORLD, our Out of this World brewery & mothership in Ponders End. Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham Hale and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for setting the agenda of our brands through a deep and intimate understanding of who our brands are, who drinks them and how best they can create long lasting memories for people.

In this role, you’ll deliver an effective marketing strategy that drives brand awareness and maximises the huge potential of the Beavertown brand portfolio. You’ll achieve this by, among others, partnering with international distributors and commercial teams to ensure the brand identity, promise, values and strategy are always consistently reflected in the sales execution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as brand custodian within Beavertown outside the UK and ensure the brand is always living its values and beliefs
  • Establish a strong brand positioning based on meaningful consumer insights and robust brand aspirations
  • Partner with external agencies to establish Beavertown as a global lifestyle brand
  • Shape, communicate and ensure full understanding of our brand vision and mission
  • Translate brand plans into successful, pragmatic, ambitious yet feasible go-to-market strategies
  • Establish health performance specifications, parameters and KPI’s that are measured on an ongoing basis
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns through ROI and KPI achievement
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities; leveraging this information to deliver on our brand strategy
  • Successfully oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
  • Intimately understand what competitors are doing around us and how we over-deliver for the consumer
  • Ensure the brands are never compromised internally or externally
  • Devise innovative growth strategies

Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics

  • Key owner and contact for the Beavertown brand identity outside the UK
  • Collaborate with he Marketing team to create a workable brand plan and strategy for international markets, ensuring all aspects of Beavertown’s services are aligned with the ethos and goals of the brand
  • Develop and maintain a distinctive and engaging brand proposition, including visual identity and tone of voice
  • Create content and material to help leverage the value of our product offering using our logos, and develop a brand hierarchy for sub-brands
  • Maintain and update Brand Identity Guidelines ensuring optimum usability for Beavertown’s employees and creative agencies
  • Maintain and update all client logo guidelines
  • Act as Internal Brand Champion, ensuring all colleagues and business streams within and outside of the UK understand the brand, its goals and work within set guidelines
  • Measure success of the brand and report on this regularly, using this information to push the brand forward
  • Provide advice and guidance on Beavertown brand internally
  • Manage external agencies in international markets and ensure marketing budgets are met

What You’ll Bring To Us

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education) in communications, marketing or a similar area (desirable)
  • A strong track record of successfully implementing brands in overseas markets
  • Fluency in English, Italian and French
  • Strong experience developing brand and marketing strategies
  • Experience identifying target audiences and leveraging this information to devise effective campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind that has a unique approach
  • Outstanding communicator who has the ability to capture the imagination through the brand stories they create
  • Fiercely up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
  • Experience in communications or marketing related positions (agency and/or client side)
  • Experience of executing impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement
  • Digital and social media savvy with a hands-on approach to deliver
  • Highly creative with the ability to think out of the box
  • Strong aesthetic eye in evaluating collateral – both in terms of design and in terms of driving effective behaviour change
  • Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs and ROI
  • Intermediate Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is desirable
