Assistant Manager

About the Role

Nebbia e Luce (NeL) seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Sales, Admin and Communications Assistant Manager with a deep understanding of the Fine Wine Industry. This combined role is crucial for establishing and delivering NeL’s annual goals in the designated markets by working closely with the NeL CEO. The ideal candidate will be based in London and proactively assist sales in this Market. The candidate will also assist in creating weekly sales offers, maintaining client relationships, managing logistical aspects of sales internationally, and enhancing our overall communication strategy. This role offers the potential for growth and increased autonomy in managing international sales, collaborating closely with the Sales Director of Nebbia e Luce.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating and distributing weekly sales offers.
  • Maintaining and nurturing client relationships in UK.
  • Supporting sales operations internationally,
  • Increasingly managing sales individually and autonomously in the UK.
  • Supporting logistical aspects of sales operations.
  • Coordinating and managing public relations activities.
  • Contributing to our social media channels to enhance our online presence
  • Supporting the organization of small high-end events and promotional activities.

About You:

You are a dedicated wine professional with a deep passion for fine wines. You have a background in the wine industry, possibly having worked in high-end wine trade or with extensive sommelier experience. You will have the character and drive to work autonomously, solving problems and proactively assisting the company establish itself in the market in collaboration with the Italy based CEO.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in high-end wine trade or High-end Sommelier experience.
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of fine wines, with a desire to continuously learn and expand expertise.
  • WSET Level 3 or above in Wine is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customersand provide exceptional service.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask.
  • Flexible availability.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as turn your hand to all aspects of helping a small company grow.
