Sales and Marketing Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven full-time Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team. Working 5 days a week Monday – Friday 9:00 – 17:00 and at least 1 Saturday per month from 9:00 – 13:00.
As a sales and marketing assistant you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to potential customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting sales targets and contributing to the growth of a small company.
Responsibilities;
- Identify and reach out to potential customers.
- Present and demonstrate our products and services to prospective clients.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Negotiate and close sale deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis.
- Travel a minimum of 2 days a week to and from potential and existing customers.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitors’ products.
- Complete admin spreadsheets and documents for each new accounts and for existing customers.
- Organise and host wine tasting events in house and at customer venues.
- Sell to the public in our shop and by phone.
- Occasionally deliver goods to customers via our company van.
Requirements;
- Experience in sales or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- WSET level 2 or above.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Results-orientated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Over the age of 18.
- Holds a full UK licence.
- Live within a 15 mile radius of CO6 1TD.
