HR & PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR - LIVINGSTON
As part of LVMH / Moët Hennessy, The Glenmorangie Company crafts, distributes and markets two of Scotland’s most acclaimed single malt whiskies. Glenmorangie is famed as the leading Highland single malt, renowned for its smooth, complex, and accessible taste, its mastery of wood in cask maturation, and its industry leading whisky innovation. This 12-month Fixed Term Contract is to join us as the HR & Payroll Administrator, were you will provide accurate and customer-focused support across recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, HR systems, payroll and benefits administration.
Acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers, you will respond to queries, provide guidance and deliver a professional and confidential service. You will also support continuous improvement by enhancing processes, maintaining data quality and helping to create a consistent and efficient employee experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first-line people support to employees, managers and stakeholders, offering guidance on queries and processes and escalating issues where required.
- Maintain accurate people, payroll and benefits data, ensuring employee records, HR systems and benefits portals are up to date and aligned with payroll information.
- Support payroll administration by processing payroll inputs and changes, monitoring time and attendance data, investigating anomalies, and producing payroll-related reports in line with deadlines and controls.
- Coordinate people administration activities, including recruitment, temporary worker management, learning and development administration, training records, purchase orders and invoice approvals.
- Prepare and analyse people and payroll data, producing key people metrics, payroll information and finance reports to agreed timescales.
- Maintain and continuously improve HR processes and documentation, including job descriptions, policies, procedures, work instructions and process flows, using feedback and data insights to enhance accuracy, efficiency and customer experience.
PROFILE
Technical Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in HR and payroll administration, including maintaining accurate employee records, payroll data and time and attendance information.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and the ability to produce reports, check data accuracy and work to defined timetables.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills, with experience handling payroll calculations, Average Holiday Pay, timesheets, invoices, purchase orders and confidential information.
- Understanding of UK employment legislation, payroll practices and HMRC requirements, including benefits reporting and related HR policies.
