OFF-TRADE EXECUTIVE - LONDON

At Small Beer we are the original mid-strength brewers, and champion this innovative beer category. Exclusively brewing beer styles designed to meet the demands of modern life.

As we enter our next stage of growth we are looking to provide greater support to our Off-Trade (Retail) partners. As a result, we are looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic individual with a passion for all things sales, promotions and retail to join our big thinking team.

This role will sit within the Growth Team and work closely with colleagues as well as Small Beer Founders to provide best in class support to our retailers (including Waitrose, Ocado and Majestic Wine) as we continue to grow our business partnerships.

The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate prior experience in retail, merchandising, buying promotions and/or sales and be very comfortable in front of customers (both buyers and consumers) to host consumer tastings and trade trainings. Will ideally have an eye for data.

Responsibilities

As our Off-Trade Exec, you can expect to be responsible for:

– Regular retail store visits to check build relationships with team members

– Organising and hosting regular consumer tastings.

– Implementing new innovative POS to support sales.

– Working closely with our Content and SEO team to increase store foot traffic and sales.

– Monitoring and reporting on performance metrics and KPI’s of in store/web promotions.

– Identifying marketing opportunities with our partners and optimising spend and performance based on data insights.

– Managing performance and listings across Amazon.

– Working with the Marketing Team to plan and execute multiple retailer campaigns and NPD launches.

– Work closely with our in-house designer to plan & deliver retailer specific content to increase ROS.

– Reporting on a weekly basis to Small Beer Co-Founders.

– Run a comms calendar to highlight sales support strategies that support our retail partner goals.

Our ideal candidate will have:

● Proven working experience in retail

● Demonstrable ability to confidently pitch a product to a group of people.

● A driving license – you will be visiting a lot of stores.

● Be happy to drive a van.

● Get up and go attitude, an eye for detail & excellent organisation skills

● Bubble with positivity, and a can-do, solution-led attitude.

● A willingness to learn and throw themselves into all tasks

● Photography, Videography & Design are skillsets that would be warmly welcomed.

● A love for sales and business partnerships

Job details: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch break. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. From time-to-time you may be asked to join in at events, festivals and other activities that see you working outside of these hours.
