The Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Production team as a Packaging Team Leader. In this role, you’ll lead and support the packaging team to ensure our beers are packaged to the highest quality standards and delivered in line with production schedules.

Working closely with the Head Brewer, Planning team and Brewing team, you’ll take a hands-on approach to coordinating daily packaging operations. You’ll help create a safe, efficient and positive working environment, ensuring our beer is packaged into cask, keg and mini keg to the exceptional standards our customers expect.

You’ll play an important part in maintaining product quality, improving processes and supporting the continued success of our Brewery.

What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone with experience in food or beverage packaging operations who enjoys leading and developing a team. You’ll feel confident organising workloads, supporting performance and encouraging continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment. Ideally, you’ll bring at least two years’ experience within beverage or food packaging, along with previous experience managing or supervising a team.

As our Packaging Team Leader, you’ll have a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency. You’ll be comfortable working with production schedules, quality control processes and compliance requirements, including HSE, HMRC and environmental standards. A good working knowledge of 5S, GMP and BRCGS standards is important, along with basic IT proficiency in production and stock systems. A forklift licence would be preferred but is not essential. Most importantly, you’ll lead with integrity, communicate openly and support your team to consistently deliver high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop the packaging team to deliver personal and business goals
• Work closely with Brewing and Planning teams to ensure packaging schedules are met
• Support continuous improvement across safety, quality, cost and delivery
• Maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors
• Ensure QC processes are followed and product quality is maintained throughout the packaging process
• Oversee packaging materials and liaise with suppliers where required
• Support compliance with regulatory standards including HSE, BRCGS, HMRC and environmental requirements
