Cellar Hand at Woodchester Valley, Cotswolds
A great opportunity is available to work with us here at Woodchester Valley for the 2026 harvest. We focus on only producing the highest quality premium wines from an array of varieties including; Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Bacchus.
Woodchester Valley is a single estate family run vineyard and winery producing muti award winning sparkling and still wines. Based in the Cotswolds, just north of Bristol. The winery was built in 2016 and has continued to grow with new and top-quality equipment at every stage.
Production : 150-200 Ton- 60% still wines 40% sparkling.
Employment duration – roughly 2 months from early September to November
Job description-
- Winery sanitation – Cleaning and preparation of; tanks, Barrels and Winery equipment
- Fruit reception – Press area operations; loading, emptying and cleaning the presses
- Winery operations – Racking’s, Transfers, Additions.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of working in a winery, or transferable skills (e.g Brewery)
- Someone interested and keen to learn how we produce our wines.
- Happy to work alone but also very much a team player.
- Strong communication skills
- Happy to work long shifts when required during the busiest times of harvest.
- Ability to lift 15kg regularly.
- Forklift certification is an advantage.
- Ideally with own transport
