What do we want?

We are looking for a friendly and organised Events Coordinator to join our team and help bring our events to life, showcasing our fabulous hotel to its full potential. In this role, you will support the planning and delivery of a range of events and functions, helping to ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable experience from the initial enquiry through to the event itself.

You will work closely with our Guest Services Supervisor and the wider Swan team to help coordinate events and ensure everything runs smoothly. From corporate gatherings to special celebrations and milestone moments, you will play an important role in helping create events that our guests remember for all the right reasons.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong organisational skills and takes pride in delivering great customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination of a wide variety of events and functions, ensuring they meet both client expectations and business requirements
  • Assist with event planning and client communications alongside the Guest Services team
  • Help coordinate event set-up on the day, ensuring spaces are prepared and ready for guests
  • Meet and greet customers, providing friendly and helpful support throughout their event experience
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to help ensure services are delivered smoothly and to a high standard
  • Assist with the organisation of events in a way that supports both customer satisfaction and the commercial success of the business
  • Communicate clearly with the wider team so everyone understands their role in preparing for events
  • Support the team in maintaining high standards across front-of-house event spaces
  • Help ensure guests consistently enjoy a welcoming and well-organised experience
  • Stay aware of industry trends and share ideas that could enhance our events offering
