Warehouse Manager - Wine Cellar - London
Job description
Fortnum & Mason are looking for a Warehouse Replenishment Manager specialising in Wines & Spirits to look after the team of Wine Cellar Operatives and the Wine cellar operation. Your role will be to develop, build and deliver a standardised process across both retail and warehouse functions. You will be the subject matter expert for the best ways of stock movement and inventory management, whilst leading, motivating and driving our people to achieve and deliver the best service to both internal and external customer, making sure the team exceeded all expectations.
This role requires a large amount of systems expertise within both the warehouse environment and the wider business.
Key Accountabilities:
* Drive the correct business process to ensure consistency & accuracy from a warehouse perspective.
* Drive sustained improvement through people
* Managing staff, building teams, training employees and monitoring production performance
* Communicate clearly and positively to engage all colleagues to ensure they understand their accountability
* Highlight inaccuracies and discrepancies within area and collaborate to resolve.
* Have a holistic view of systematic warehouse processes and how these link in together, internally & within the wider business.
* Produce daily and weekly reports, ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed.
* Introduce and drive performance through KPI reporting
* Robust date management process that mirrors retail
The successful candidate will have:
* Strong Communication verbal & written, To have the ability to express oneself confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing
* Strong problem solving focus with the drive to follow tasks through to a successful completion
* People management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas
* Experience in manual handling
* Excellent time management
* Excellent organisational and prioritising skills
* Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve
