Context
The role of the Production Planner is to manage the operational and tactical production plan for the assigned site and production line(s) within the OMP planning system, covering both the S&OE and S&OP governance for the European Spirits category. The planner looks to continuously optimise the supply chain, balancing service (CFR), cost (COGS), cash (inventory & SLOBs), direct dispatch, and site production efficiencies, ensuring segmentation, NSV, and market share are driving the right priorities.

The planner will work as part of a wider category planning team, bringing to bear cross-team knowledge and insights to plan finished goods for both Santa Vittoria and Leven production plants, and from time to time take over other line responsibilities during peak season and holiday periods, which may also include cross-functional support to the Scotch category at Leven.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Capacity Management to meet Supply Chain goals and deliver the best plan.
  • Data Management and Parameter Optimisation to ensure optimal OMP plan output.
  • Inventory and SLOBs ownership and accountability across the GBS network, including provisioning.
  • Line and Site Intelligence & Analytics in line with core business objectives.
  • Scenario planning and capacity modelling to help anticipate future innovation and internal optimisation.
  • Segmentation analysis and review in line with business priorities.
  • Innovation and I&BC partner to enable growth whilst driving E2E efficiencies.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant experience in either Supply Chain, business, or market planning experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Looking for a candidate with a learner approach, appetite to grow and develop, dedicated.
  • Proactive, yet able to show flexibility and agility in line with dial-up behaviours.
  • Data driven and analytical mentality; leverages data to drive decision making.
  • Strong networking, influencing & communication skills. Able to communicate up and down and challenge the status quo.
  • Experienced use of a planning system preferred, however OMP system training provided and license to plan mandatory for all new joiners (e.g., SAP, APO, O9, Anaplan, Kinaxis).
  • Experience with Power BI and advanced excel preferred, but not essential.
