Store and Web Stock Controller - London

The Role:

To support the Supply Chain team, to drive the business growth strategy across our store network and online channels. Within this role you will manage the day to day availability management of our webstore, new stores, small format stores plus any focus stores to support sales. You will also lead ticket management within the team and support the wider supply chain team as required mainly around allocations.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Focus stores (Small format, seasonal and low availability stores)

  • Complete weekly replenishment orders to meet small format store’s sales forecasts and achieving min 95%+ availability and stock within 6 to 8 weeks forward cover
  • Provide weekly analysis on low availability stores and any in focus due to seasonality, sales performance, local events etc
  • Arrange targeted GXO picks where required to support store’s sales and/or availability

 New Stores 

  • Represent supply chain at weekly new store meeting and accountable for 98%+ opening availability
  • Coordinate stock build requirements and sourcing of stock
  • Post opening ‘hypercare’ as in reviewing stock levels in line with sales forecasts and working with supply chain to resolve with targeted

GXO 

  • GXO picks GXO Daily stock management of GXO as in inbound, availability to 90%+ and also regular review of overstocks with driven actions to resolve
  • Data accuracy of all lines within GXO as in online buffer levels and ensuring exiting parcel and delisted lines cleanly
  • Full ownership for online promotional execution inline with trade plan including lock it in program

 Tickets

  •  Lead the team to ensure 95% SLA achieved for responding to tickets within 4 working hours
  • Provide daily state of play updates to the team
  • Analyse trends, identify solutions to support stores/the team and drive improvements

Other 

  • Supporting the team with allocations and ad hoc tasks as required
  • Provide support across the team as and when required

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Ability to influence change with peers
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills required
  • Computer literate
  • Results orientated and strong experience on delivering against set KPIs
  • Experience in managing performance, influencing and leading
  • Clear and concise communicator
  • Proactive, solution driven and not afraid to seek advice from peer group

Job Specifics:

  • Contract Type: Secondment until end March 2025
  • Location: Watford and Hemel Hempstead. Our Head Office is based in Watford, just 20 minutes from London Euston. From Watford Junction, we are a 15-minute walk to our Head Office.
