We are an organisation of 2,000 employees in the UK, headquartered in London, in a brand-new office designed with sustainability, ‘conviviality’ and collaboration in mind. We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside.
Your new team
This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.
Your unique contribution
We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager – Comms & Content who thrives on turning insight and culture into bold, distinctive global ideas. In this role, you’ll shape and deliver global communications platforms and campaigns that bring the brand to life with impact, enabling markets to build relevance, effectiveness, and brand love locally. Working closely with global and local teams, agencies, and centres of excellence, you’ll ensure our brand is expressed with clarity, consistency, and creative excellence across touchpoints.
Key responsibilities:
Global Communications
- Define and support the global brand communications strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Global Comms & Culture Director
- Develop inspiring creative briefs that guide internal teams, agencies, and markets
- Help shape the Brand World campaign from idea to launch, bringing the brand world to life.
- Lead the development of the Ballantine’s Prestige secondary campaign from idea to market launch, creating a 360° ecosystem that builds relevance and brand love
- Partner with the Brand Architecture team to develop compelling communication strategies across the brand portfolio
- Lead the definition of communications KPIs and effectiveness frameworks (pre- and post-testing), in partnership with the Insights team, to drive continuous creative improvement
- Support and enable key markets to activate global campaigns with consistency, clarity, and local relevance
Global Brand Guardian of Brand World
- Act as global guardian of brand visual identity, tone of voice, and creative excellence, alongside the Centre of Excellence
- Lead the development of the Masterbrand visual guideline Toolkits, defining visual concepts, treatments, and creative ingredients in partnership with the Centre of Excellence
- Enable consistent and high-quality application of the brand across markets and touchpoints
Culture & Partnerships
- Support communications and content activation across the True Music platform, landing the brand POV through distinctive and culturally resonant storytelling
Budget & Compliance
- Track costs and support budget management across assigned global communication projects

Experience & Knowledge
- Strong experience developing and leading global and/or local creative campaigns from strategy to execution
- Proven experience leading creative development with multiple stakeholders, including creative, media, and PR agencies
- Experience shaping communications strategy and translating brand strategy and insight into clear narratives, platforms, and campaigns
- Strong understanding of culture, with the ability to turn consumer insight into actionable communications
- Some experience working in or with a global, matrixed organization across markets and functions
- Experience in premium, lifestyle, or culture-driven categories, with strong sensitivity to brand, culture, and consumer behaviour.
Skills & Mindset
- A strong creative eye, able to spot what’s working, push ideas further, and raise the bar on creative quality
- Deeply curious about consumers and culture, with a good instinct for turning insight into clear, relevant communications
- Commercially minded, with a good sense of how great communications drive impact for the brand and the business
- Organized and pragmatic, able to juggle multiple priorities and keep projects moving without losing momentum
- A confident, engaging communicator who can tell a clear story and bring people with them
