Sales & Logistics Administrator

We are hiring for a sales and logistics administrator. This position is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for wine and sustainability to get their foot in the door within a young and dynamic company. 

Whilst the role is very much admin-centered, anyone joining our team would be exposed to many areas of the business with great potential for the right candidate to learn and develop according to their interests and aptitudes.

Being part of our small team will require the candidate to bring genuine enthusiasm, curiosity, and a thirst for knowledge to the role, beyond just completing daily tasks. The role is Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and based in our office in Haggerston N1, London. Salary: £28,000 depending on experience. Please send your CV and cover letter to info@modalwines.com

TASKS

  • Process & invoice daily orders
  • Monitor and manage daily deliveries
  • First point of contact for customer queries
  • Inbox management and categorisation of tasks for the rest of the team
  • Maintenance of internal tracking systems
  • Assist in regular sales reporting and stock tracking
  • Maintenance of all CRM data
  • Gain an understanding of the Modal Wines portfolio as it pertains to the role
  • Assist in planning and execution of trade events and customer tastings
  • Management and tracking of incoming and outgoing sample stock
  • Assist in social media planning

SKILLS

  • Genuine passion for wine
  • Genuine passion in all things organic, biodynamic, and sustainable
  • A driven self-starter that is well organized and able to manage own time and deadlines
  • Ability to multitask while working to tight deadlines
  • High level of customer service
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Good knowledge of the basics of wine production, styles and key regions. 
  • Experience with microsoft excel/ google sheets/ google drive
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus though not essential
