Sales and Business Development Executive for Luxury Whisky Brand (Full-Time, Remote)

Overview:

Johnson Distillers is looking for a Business Development Executive who understands luxury to join our team. The successful candidate will have their WSET Level 2 and have experience selling luxury/high-end wine and/or spirits.

We are seeking professional, dynamic, passionate and entrepreneurial candidates with a proven track record in closing business in uber luxury products.

As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for coming up with a sales strategy for the brand, leaning on the CEO and others in order to identify new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute a sales strategy for Johnson Distillers, leaning on the CEO/Founder and others on the team to successfully drive results
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting
– Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients/collectors, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions
– Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
– Meet or exceed sales targets
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify potential growth areas

Qualifications:
– Proven track record of success in a business development or sales role in luxury products; wines/spirits experience strongly preferred
– WSET Level 2 Qualification required in Wine or Spirits
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Ability to build and maintain strong client/collector relationships
– Ability to work under pressure and to hit targets
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
