On-Trade Account Manager - Cornwall

This role will be focused on both account management to maximize existing relationships, whilst also putting significant focus on winning and developing new accounts. A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to sell from our premium portfolio.

 

Territory spanning Cornwall. Full UK driver’s license is required for this position.

The Role:

In this pivotal role, you’ll take charge of both nurturing existing partnerships through exceptional account management and spearheading the acquisition and growth of new accounts within the vibrant on-trade IFT market. We’re in search of an exceptional relationship builder who can expertly showcase our premium portfolio. Your role will encompass bolstering our partner wholesale outlets, executing retention strategies for ABI brands, and demonstrating keen business acumen while achieving impressive KPI results – all while embodying the ABI 10 key principles.

 

Success in this role won’t just be a feather in your cap – it’s the gateway to broader horizons. As you conquer this position, you’ll gain the prowess to transition into key account management within sales, whether in the on-trade or off-trade sectors or even set your sights on leadership roles spanning multiple functions.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Grow AB InBev share/sales within the National On-Trade Wholesale Partner
  • Deliver distribution, volume, and other commercial metrics
  • Build promotional plans with customers to ensure AB InBev has the strongest promotional participation across categories & outperforms the competition across all key commercial metrics.
  • Develop a strong network of working relationships across the ledger from HO contacts, Wholesale Salesforce, WKAMs, Technical Support
  • Liaise with the Leadership Team to attend & lead Regional Sales Meetings
  • Track, monitor, and manage ABI listing fee accounts
  • Supporting the implementation of cross-functional project
  • Analyze relevant data sources to drive individual and team performance

 

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Thrives beyond office walls and relishes connecting with new clients face-to-face
  • Passionate about the beer and food industry; experience in hospitality (e.g., bar work, waiter/waitress) is preferred
  • Analytical skills and strong business acumen
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent relationship-building and follow-up skills
  • Very enthusiastic, motivated to make a difference, driven, ambitious, and resilient
  • Computer proficiency, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexible with irregular working hours to be present during key periods on-premise (including some evenings and weekends)
