Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with national pub chains.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the pub group channel.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the pub sector.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, adjusting strategies to meet targets.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional activities within the pub groups.
- Ensure AU Vodka’s brand is prominently displayed and aligns with company guidelines.
- Organise and attend promotional events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed business decisions and recommendations.
- Work closely with marketing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with product development teams to provide feedback from customers and the market.
- Stay updated on industry developments and continuously enhance personal and team knowledge.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or account management role within the beverage or FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Experience working with national pub chains or in a similar channel is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to travel as required.
