About the role
Reporting into the Director Global Luxury Sales, Daou International the Luxury Business Manager role focuses on driving Daou wine sales across EMEA through strategic events, partnerships, and relationship building. The Luxury Business Manager will enhance distribution with the Penfolds team, engage high-net-worth clients, and develop direct sales opportunities, while also hosting key training sessions and events for priority products.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
- Generate interest and boost sales of Daou wines by executing high-quality, engaging events that enhance brand visibility and appeal.
- Support the growth of Daou’s distribution network by focusing on a targeted list of priority customers to secure new listings.
- Meet agreed targets for Net Sales Revenue (NSR), distribution, and Gross Profit (GP) within the designated account portfolio.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships that align with the strategic channel plan and meet specific commercial objectives.
- Identify and prioritize a targeted list of prospects to drive wine growth and market penetration.
- Develop a robust luxury wine network, both internally and externally, to expand Daou’s presence and reach within the premium wine market.
About you
We are looking for an experienced Business/ Sales Manager ideally with experience in FMCG, preferably in the Food and Drinks Category. You will have a proven sales track record in business development and Account Management.
- Good experience in the Luxury Wine industry, with proven Luxury and national / key account management sales experience
- Outstanding Negotiation and Selling skills
- Detailed understanding of how to develop successful partnerships with Luxury customers.
- Confidence and ability to deal with leading industry figures up to MW level.
- Knowledge and capability to understand and leverage Penfolds winemaking assets.
- Contacts in the Luxury Wine industry and strong current relationships
- Hands on experience of working in a winery would be an advantage
