The Role:
As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you will lead relationships with wholesaler buying teams, negotiate JBPs, and drive commercial strategies while executing impactful brand initiatives. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring a keen balance between customer needs and business growth opportunities.
Success in this role depends on strong cross-functional collaboration, working closely with regional sales teams, key account managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional execution within the IFT (Independent Free Trade) sector. A detail-oriented, commercially minded professional with strong influencing skills will thrive here.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and strengthen customer relationships from Head Office to sales teams.
- Lead commercial negotiations and implement JBPs for shared success.
- Track performance against KPIs and contribute to business reviews.
- Activate brand strategies through trade marketing and sales engagement.
- Support account managers in executing field sales initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of customers’ businesses and act as their trusted partner.
- Represent Budweiser Brewing Group with confidence and credibility.
Who we’re looking for:
- We seek ambitious, commercially driven individuals with a winning mindset and a talent for building strong relationships.
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or a related commercial role.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, comfortable managing P&L and balancing growth with profitability.
- Ability to navigate complexity and succeed in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong internal and external networks.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to take ownership.
- This is a field-based role, ideally for someone based in London, with an expectation to be in the office three days a week. If you are located in the North, travel to the North West, Yorkshire, and North East UK will be required.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop commercial leadership, negotiation expertise, and strategic account management experience within some of the biggest customers in the IFT sector.
