Key Account Manager - Brighton and East Sussex
Role overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly successful and growing company as a Key Account Manager. You will enjoy building relations, be self-motivated and have the ability to organise your day to maximise opportunities within your area. There is a strong focus on new business, whilst maintaining relationships with our existing customers.
This is a field-based role with occasional visits to HQ. This role offers a competitive basic salary, car or travel allowance, bonus and incentives.
This role will required you to have a Full UK driving Licence
Key Responsibilities
- Grow, develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customer portfolios
- Understanding customer needs to promote products and solutions
- Follow up new leads in a timely manner
- Negotiating contracts and agreements to create detailed proposals part of a formal bidding process
- Advise customers on forthcoming product developments and promotions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks or opportunities
- Attend weekly team (via video platform) and monthly all team meetings in person
- Provide on going support to our customers, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
- Make accurate cost calculations to provide customers with quotations
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Person Specification
- Previous field sales based experience in on trade
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Industry knowledge and experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strategic thinker
- Highly organised and able to plan and problem solve proactively
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A good level of numeracy
- Good working knowledge of IT systems including word and excel
