Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

Hybrid working: 2 days in the office (including Tuesday and Wednesday, could increase to 3 days), 2 days from home

About the Role

As an Export Customer Service Representative, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end export order management for our international customers. Serving as the primary point of contact, you’ll manage export documentation (Certificates of Origin, EUR1, and Health Certificates), coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics partners, and ensure full compliance with international trade regulations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive, responsive communication throughout the order lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with international customers, understanding their needs and priorities.
  • Take ownership of customer queries, ensuring swift and professional resolution.
  • Capture, process, and validate export customer orders with high accuracy.
  • Manage export documentation, including Certificates of Origin, EUR1s, and Health Certificates.
  • Liaise with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to track and deliver shipments.
  • Ensure adherence to international regulations and export compliance procedures.
  • Investigate service issues to deliver root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Adopt a “fix it properly” mindset, driving sustainable improvements.
  • Identify ways to streamline workflows, reduce complexity, and raise customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with forecasting, logistics, transport, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide export logistics support in line with customer and business requirements.
  • Contribute to S&OP processes by maintaining visibility of order and supply chain performance.
  • Use SAP, CMS, and GTA to manage orders and maintain data accuracy.
  • Support reporting and compliance tracking through detailed and timely documentation.

 

Experience and Key Attributes

  • Experience in international logistics and export documentation is essential.
  • Knowledge of SAP and GTA processes is desirable.
  • Exposure to FMCG environments and Esker systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (English essential; a second language desirable).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with a systematic approach.

 

Qualifications

  • A Levels (or equivalent) essential.
  • Degree in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain, or Languages desirable.
