Nice launched in March 2019 with an ambition to build a modern wine company that exists to make picking a nice wine easy. Nice is all about putting consumers first and creating a brand that is more inclusive, fun, functional, and disruptive than traditional wine brands. Our range includes Wine in Cans, Wine in Boxes, Wine on Tap, Wine in Bottles and a lower alcohol Sessions 3.4% range.
In six years, Nice has become the best-selling still canned wine brand and the fastest growing (+78% YoY) making up 21% of the market for still canned wine.
Customers include all Virgin Atlantic Flights, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrisons, The Co-op, Ocado, WH Smith and Whistletstop. Within the on-trade they supply hundreds of sites across a number of different channels including third space, restaurants, QSR, stadiums, festivals and events.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You will be responsible for building, delivering, managing, and growing the on trade strategy and some of the on-trade team This includes winning new business; managing partnerships; building long-term relationships; building the strategy; motivating and developing the team, and delivering industry-defining growth.

- YOU ARE A LEADER AND MOTIVATOR
15% of this role is about managing, nurturing, growing, and developing the on-trade team (who are incredibly capable people already delivering insane results)
- You need to be OK with owning your own demand forecast, working with operations and finance
- Sharing insights to the wider team with clear objectives for everything
- Be ready to develop your understanding of the wine category
YOU ARE RIGHT IF:
- You can clearly show that you have a strong track record in hunting out and winning new business across the on-trade, we are looking out for: resilience, hustle, determination, creativity, charm, get stuck in and your sleeves rolled up, can-do attitude
- You have strong account managing experience across key national on-trade customers
- You have experience building and executing sales strategies
- You have experience managing people
- You are comfortable with category data and using various data sources to pull your own story together
- You are amazing with people and can build strong relationships
- You are a very fast mover and get results very quickly
- You enjoy being stretched and would welcome the opportunity that a fast-growing business can bring
- You are passionate about working in a small, passionate, entrepreneurial team
- Available to work in the London offices (Kennington) at least 3 days per week
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Delivered in a fast-growth food or drink company for at least 6 + years
- Have experienced a start-up business
- Minimum of 6 + years sales experience within key on-trade channels across wholesale and end customers
- Have experience managing people
