Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham Hale and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.

The Role

Fancy joining an innovative company where you’ll leverage your advanced Excel, Power BI and Power Query expertise to create meaningful, insightful reporting and dashboards? In this role, you’ll be responsible for everything from being the sole holder of our finance master data through to collating rolling forecasts and spot-checking data sets. You’ll use your logical approach to map data and translate it into a format that aligns to our internal technology.

What You’ll Be Doing

Data Modelling and Reporting

• Proactively maintain the company’s financial data systems such as Power BI and Anaplan. Extract, load and transform data
• Build data capability across the finance team by creating reporter designers’ understanding of the data model and their technical skill including data governance
• Design and implement data analysis, data collection, and other processes that deliver the key objectives of the finance team as well as providing insights that drive decision making. Including building appropriate dashboards
• Identify how new data sources or additional data capture may unlock new reporting metrics that could solve business problems or improve efficiency
• Be an advocate for, and drive forward, the data culture at Beavertown
• Positively influence teams to use data as a tool to influence decision making
• Project Lead for future developments relating to data conversion, data translation accuracy, etc.
• Quickly able to adapt to new systems, technologies and ways of working in order to produce quality data and analysis

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Use your advanced tech skills to deliver accurate Annual Plans and Rolling Forecast updates on time
• Co-ordinate Annual Plans and Rolling Forecast updates, consolidating submissions from finance business partners across the business for Commercial, Production, Marketing, and Office Support
• Producing forecasts for Utilities, Other COGs and third parties
• Update and reconcile Annual Plans & Rolling Forecast updates in cashflow models
• Develop improved working capital and cash management models

What You’ll Bring To Us

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; practical experience with financial modelling
• Data expert – with finance-related tech tools
• Power Query, SQL, and Business intelligence tools understanding and knowledge
• Easily able to use your interpersonal skills to collaborate with, and get buy in, from stakeholders
• Experience translating data into insights which tell a story which can support decision making
• Highly logical approach, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Committed team player, used to working flexibly and keen to make improvements
• FMCG experience desirable
