Responsibilities Of The Role

COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

  • Increase sales efficiency & compliance by qualitatively surveying Key and Core trade partners’ performance, in collaboration with Commercial Planning, including:
    • analyzing ROI of A&P/FTT investments,
    • scanning ROS (vol. performance vs FIPs & phasing) & supporting AMs for optimization,
    • tracking activations within Aspire, with post-analysis learnings
  • Enhance data-driven decisions by reviewing existing content within systems (Aspire & PowerBI) and supporting AMs on distribution surveys and depletions data (RTM)
  • Support AMs in the quarterly analysis of individual distribution objectives, and areas of improvement with suggested solutions
  • Generate channel-specific content for RTM/Nationals and Sponsorships & Partnerships, allowing for future scale within these channels
  • Ensure periodical dissemination of Consumer Insights market trends & information
  • Achieve contextualization (in collaboration with Marketing & Insights teams) and translation of this information into channel, customer type and sales situation specific, customer value-added sales arguments
  • Lead conception and development of effective commercial content and tools (Trade presenters, sales decks, whitePrêt-à-porterers, one-pager etc.)
  • Convey trade “painpoints” to Brand teams for most sales-efficient use of financial & human resources (ie, increased ROS for new brands & legacy brands with high PIs)
  • Create and implement training and coaching services for sales speech configuration and how to build insight-led sales conversations including customer challenge reframing and the creation of enhanced emotional impact, in line with desired brand communication.
  • Maison visits: Liaise between agency & Maisons to effectively organize & execute trade Maison experiences.
  • Coordinate between Brand and Sales to invite, confirm, and update the attendance of trade partners to key events throughout the year.

PORTFOLIO TRADE ACTIVATION SUPPORT

  • Coordinate with Brand and Sales for POSM dissemination and portfolio activations
  • Support Senior Commercial Development Manager in any/all tasks expected of that function.
  • Lead the ordering & delivery of Coravin and Verre de Vins Systems.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – ON & OFF TRADE SALES DIRECTORS:

  • Assist the On & Off Sales Director with organizational duties to include communications, travel and administration
  • Lead the scheduling, agenda-creation, and minute-taking of OTM and OFTM meetings
  • Provide occasional support to the On & Off-Trade Heads Of in relation to daily tasks and team planning
  • Coordinate and facilitate key business meetings throughout the year

Profile

LANGUAGES:

 

  • Fluent English

KEY SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

 

  • 3 years of relevant training/education experience in wines & spirits or luxury goods
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate theory into actionable results
  • High level of innovation to translate team intelligence into tangible outcomes
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret information
  • Commercially analytical and astute

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

 

  • Aspire, Qliksense, PowerBI, Anaplan, MH Learning, and other MH software tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of organization
  • Excellent project planning & management
  • High level of computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Autonomous and can work independently
