Business Development Manager - South Coast
Disaronno International UK is a wholly owned subsidiary of Illva Saronno S.p.A., a leader in the global wine & spirits business.
Since our launch in 2020, Disaronno International UK, has gone from strength to strength. Building on our two hallmark brands of Disaronno and Tia Maria, we have not only launched variations such as Disaronno Velvet, but have had great success with our new brands, Engine Gin and The Busker Irish Whiskey and the portfolio keeps growing. Our newest additions range from the Italian specialities such as Isolabella Limoncello and Sambuca and Amaro Zucca, to the wonderful American Whiskey Sagamore Rye. This year we are also incredibly excited to work alongside Cotswold Distillery as their UK distributor.
Your role will be to manage existing and generate new on-trade customers across the South Coast
The ideal candidate will already have drinks or FMCG sales experience within this area.
Responsibilities
- Increase distribution of our portfolio and grow rate of sale within a large and diverse customer base, developing robust JBPs/JMPs
- Differentiate their brands by creating and executing innovative in-outlet activation, striving to secure maximum visibility of our brands
- Build and develop relationships with key customers and groups within your territory, becoming the go-to supplier
- Train and educate in outlet team members to deliver perfect serves and collaborate to create new and exciting cocktails, delivering increase ROS
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the on-trade
- Brands drinks experience and use in cocktails would be advantageous
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work schedule
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
- Commercially focussed
- Based on South Coast
- A passion for all things spirits and cocktails
