Business Development Manager - Kent
DiVine Importers is a well-established and growing business based in Northfleet, Kent. We import a wide variety of Italian wine and food products, and supply Italian restaurants throughout London and the South East.
The company have been growing year on year and are pleased to offer a new and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to come in and work alongside the Directors on a new subsidiary, DiVine Wine.
This role is a great opportunity to grow and develop the wine subsidiary of an already successful brand.
As the role will focus on wine sales, the candidate needs a strong knowledge of wines, particularly Italian wines.
What will you do?
- Develop wine sales with our current customer base, and initiating wine sales with new customers
- Maintain customer relationships through regular communication
- Assist with producing and enforcing new sales campaigns
- Contribute to sourcing new wines for the portfolio
- Develop and integrate international wines to the portfolio
- Report sales progress directly to the Directors
Hours
Full time, with the ability to flex hours as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to travel to Northfleet for one day per week, with the possibility to work remotely for the other four and must have the ability to visit clients throughout the week.
- A proven track record in wine sales of at least 3 years
- WSET educated would be ideal
- Good understanding of Italian Wines
- Right to work in the UK
- Full clean UK driving licence, with your own transport
