Business Account Manager - Lewes

Nationally award-winning college is looking to grow their business services team to support employers from the land-based sectors to identify, grow and develop their workforce.

We are seeking to recruit a new business account manager to join our established Business Services team to support the continued growth in the college’s apprenticeships, commercial training and assessment income and wider college employer partnerships. This post is based in our fabulous Agri-Food Centre, an ideal location to meet external stakeholder and host employer engagement events. You’ll be given all the tools necessary to be successful in this role and will be joining an established and supportive team who work hard in ensuring the college achieves its overall growth targets. This role is incredibly varied, providing the opportunity to engage in different ways with a wide range of people from across the land-based industries to identify and provide them with a range of training and recruitment solutions.

The ideal candidate’s skills and experience;

  • A track record of winning new business in a B2B consultative sales environment
  • Comfortable working towards and exceeding individual and team targets/KPIs
  • Confident communicator who is able to build long last relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent presentation skills, both face to face or virtually online.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate and confident IT user
  • Wide ranging knowledge of apprenticeships, the apprenticeship levy and the apprenticeship service
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise effectively.
  • Familiar with CRM tools and able to monitor and report individual financial and activity performance
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (though you will have access to a college e-vehicle).
