The English Wine Project was founded in 2011 by winemaker Kieron Atkinson. We’ve been based at Renishaw Hall vineyard for over 15 years and have operated our own winery in Derby since 2020 — making us one of the few producers in the Midlands growing and producing our own English wine. With deep experience across winemaking, consultancy, education and vineyard management, we’re now focused on building outstanding wine tourism experiences that champion English wine and showcase what the region can do.
