We also own vineyards and wine production facilities in Romania, located in the Dealu Mare (Big Hill) region. Our Rhein & CIE 1892 Cellars, located in Azuga, are the place where the oldest sparkling wine in Romania, Rhein Extra, has been produced without interruption for more than a century.

Rhein Extra has particular historical and cultural significance and has been the official supplier to the Royal House of Romania since 1904.
