ABOUT THE ROLE
BrewDog are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Artworker to join our dynamic in-house Creative Team.
In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Creative, NPD (New Product Development), and Quality teams to deliver outstanding packaging, print, and digital assets. Your mission? To transform creative concepts into flawless production-ready files.
With a sharp eye for detail, you’ll ensure brand consistency and regulatory compliance across all our packaging and assets. Your work will play a critical role in making BrewDog’s beer stand out on shelves around the globe, delivering world-class designs that embody our bold and innovative spirit.
Details of the role:
- Prepare production-ready artwork for a variety of packaging formats (cans, bottles, consumer and trade facing packaging) and media formats (OOH/Digital etc)
- Collaborate with the creative team to adapt designs for different materials and printing methods
- Maintain brand consistency across all packaging touchpoints
- Develop a detailed understanding on legality and mandatories across packs, working closely with our quality team
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure printing accuracy and quality standards are met
- Review PDF and physical proofs
- Manage artwork revisions and version control to meet deadlines efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with packaging trends, materials, and sustainability practices.
- Supporting the full Creative Department in developing solutions to internal and external briefs
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, whilst being proactive on creative feedback on team ideas and projects
ABOUT YOU
- Excellent attention to detail and works with precision
- A proven track record in packaging design or artwork preparation (experience in the FMCG or beverage industry is a bonus)
- Excellent Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign skills
- Extensive knowledge of printing techniques, finishes and packaging material
- A sharp eye for colour, layout and production details
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time, within a fast paced Creative Studio
- A strong team player willing to put their passion and drive into the brand
