About the role:
Are you ready to take your communications career to the next level? We’re looking for a passionate and creative Communications Coordinator to join our team. With some experience under your belt, you’ll be stepping into a role where you can make an impact by managing engaging internal communications and building strong media relations. In this role, you’ll collaborate across the business to deliver fresh, engaging content and support key communication initiatives.
What you’ll do:
Your role will involve, but not be limited to:
- Managing the creation and distribution of internal communications, such as corporate website, LinkedIn newsletters, announcements, and updates.
- Writing and distributing press releases to highlight company milestones and initiatives.
- Manage our global awards and review submissions including key stakeholder engagement and communications
- Coordinating media send-outs and building relationships with media contacts.
- Preparing briefing materials and communication plans for internal announcements and media appearances.
- Collaborating with internal teams and the PR agency to ensure consistent and aligned messaging.
- Supporting the development of visual communication assets, including photography and videography.
- Staying up to date with industry news and trends to enhance internal communication strategies.
- Collaborate with global marketing teams in brand launches and sponsorships
- Support the communications manager with external communications and ASX requirements
What you’ll bring:
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar communications role.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with experience crafting professional communications for different audiences.
- Proficiency in digital tools like InDesign, Canva, or similar platforms.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
