Senior Logistics Analyst - Bristol
The Logistics Analyst will play a key role in Logistics Team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Analyst will use their insights and expertise to provide the business with an accurate picture of the current position and trends, and provide recommendations for action and improvement, continuously driving positive change.
This role is responsible for producing accurate, on time analysis of AW movements, cost and service. The role is responsible for tracking and managing Freight, Warehouse & Distribution non-conformances and claims, and for managing day to day operational issues as they arise.
You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers in our outsourced supply chain to identify issues and non-conformances and drive positive change in processes and behaviours. You will track and monitor service failures, losses and damages with suppliers and be accountable for purchase to pay process for Freight and Logistics suppliers, acting as our front line by validating costs, challenging spend, and managing supplier on time payments through our systems whilst understanding, challenging and controlling non-standard costs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for regular reporting and in depth analysis on Freight movements, forecasts, cost and service to identify trends, issues and opportunities
- Provides clear, accurate and action-oriented insights and recommendations to the business
- Works with internal teams and external suppliers in our outsourced supply chain to identify issues and non-conformances and drive positive change in processes and behaviours.
- Tracks and monitors service failures, losses and damages with suppliers.
- Raises and manages claims with 3rd parties
- Responsible for purchase to pay process for Freight and Logistics suppliers, acting as our front line by validating costs, challenging spend, and managing supplier on time payments through our systems.
- Support of change and continuous improvement projects within the business.
- Understanding, challenging and controlling non-standard costs
