WSET School London is seeking a part-time Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our school, providing exceptional service to students, visitors, and staff. This role is perfect for individuals looking to work in a vibrant, educational environment on Saturdays with potential for additional hours.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Visitor and Student Reception
- Warmly greet and guide students and visitors at WSET School London.
- Manage daily registers to assist with student sign-ins and room directions.
- Maintain a tidy, professional reception area, enhancing the school’s welcoming atmosphere.
- Promote WSET courses to prospective students and drop-in guests.
- Act promptly in emergency situations, ensuring all visitor logs and registers are secured.
- Handle and direct incoming calls, voicemails, and messages efficiently.
- Sign for deliveries, inform relevant staff, and maintain delivery records.
Student Administration
- Support the Student Services team in processing course bookings and maintaining accurate records, in compliance with UK GDPR.
- Assist in managing the Student Services mailbox and address student inquiries.
- Distribute learning materials and manage online classroom access for students.
Customer Service Excellence
- Foster a friendly and approachable environment for all school visitors.
- Communicate effectively via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Listen actively to understand and cater to customer needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service.
- Engage in promotional events to enhance the visibility of WSET offerings.
Staff Development and Support
- Participate in relevant staff development and continuous professional development (CPD) activities.
- Contribute to performance evaluations and appraisal discussions.
