This is a great opportunity for an organised, detail-focused professional to play a central role in how product information is managed, shared and brought to life across Alliance Wine.

We would love to hear from someone who is:

  • Highly organised, efficient and detail-focused, with a natural curiosity for making processes work better.
  • Confident managing several priorities at once and comfortable working to regular deadlines.
  • Knowledgeable about wine, preferably with experience in the industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our Product Information Database accurate, current and easy to use. You will work with information from producers and help ensure our teams have the details they need across a portfolio of nearly 300 producers and more than 1,300 wines from over 20 countries.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Product Information Database

  1. Manage and improve the Product Information Database (PID)
  • Add and maintain producer, brand, item and vintage details.
  • Add and manage regions and countries in PID.
  • Maintain quality classifications across all countries.
  • Update supplier records with producer contact details.
  • Manage sort orders for countries, regions, producers, brands and items.
  • Maintain awards and medals associated with all products.
  • Check database scripts are accurate and working correctly.
  1. Onboarding products and producers
    • Build strong working relationships with producers to gather the information needed for PID and support new producer and product launches.
    • Look for ways to make the onboarding process smoother, clearer and more effective.

Product Information Communication

You will also play an important role in helping colleagues across the business access clear, accurate product information, specifically Marketing.

  1. New Producer Launches (NPL)
    • Maintain PID appropriately so Marketing has the information and assets needed to deliver clear, timely and effective launches.
  2. Portfolio and price lists
    • Provide accurate, clear information on all wines included in the portfolio.
    • Ensure information is accurate and up to date.
    • Suggest and support improvements that make information easier to obtain, maintain and use.
  3. Website:
    • Ensure relevant website content is accurate, up to date and correctly populated from PID.
