At WSET, we create world‑class learning experiences for a truly global audience. We’re looking for a Digital Learning Designer to help us design and develop engaging, inclusive and accessible learning resources across online, blended and face‑to‑face environments. Working closely with our Instructional Design and Content Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in continuously improving WSET courses using evidence‑based learning design and the ADDIE methodology.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop high‑quality digital learning resources for global learners, supporting online, blended and classroom delivery
- Apply accessibility, inclusive design and adult learning principles across all learning content
- Contribute to the effective integration of classroom, online and blended learning approaches across WSET programmes
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and third‑party providers to ensure all content meets WSET standards for quality, accessibility and learner experience
- Use learner insight, personas and needs analysis to inform curriculum, content and delivery decisions
- Support project planning and timely delivery of learning design work in collaboration with Project Management, Research & Development, Educational Development and Qualifications teams
- Stay current with best practice in digital, blended, synchronous and asynchronous learning
- Maintain and build expertise in WSET’s Learning Management System (Canvas) and content authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Genially
- Contribute to a community of practice within the Product team, sharing insight and supporting continuous improvement in learning design and delivery
What you’ll bring
- Experience designing learning using recognised instructional design approaches (such as ADDIE)
- A strong commitment to accessibility, inclusive design and learner‑centred practice
- Confidence working across a range of learning environments and formats
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts and external content developers
- A curiosity for learning innovation and a desire to continuously improve learning experiences

Salary: £42,000 per annum
Definitions:
Fully remote – Can be performed entirely remotely from any location.
Hybrid remote – Performed as a mixture of in-office and remote work.
Temporarily remote – Performed in a single location, such as an office or at a job site, but which is temporarily remote during special circumstances).
