About The Role

The Customer Marketing Manager – EMEA plays a critical role in delivering best‑in‑class customer and channel activation across priority EMEA markets outside the UK.

 

Working in close partnership with Sales, Brand and Regional teams, you will translate brand strategy into effective, customer‑led activation solutions – equipping distributors and commercial teams with the tools, frameworks and propositions needed to win in market.

 

This is a strategic customer marketing role, focused on shaping solutions and enabling execution, rather than hands‑on activation delivery.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Market Activation

  • Develop and deliver scalable customer marketing toolkits for priority EMEA markets
  • Equip distributors and regional sales teams with clear activation guidance and materials
  • Support new market launches and distribution expansion initiatives
  • Partner with key customers to strengthen Vinarchy’s market presence

 

Channel & Shopper Programmes

  • Design activation solutions tailored to on‑trade and off‑trade environments
  • Adapt global and regional campaigns to local shopper behaviour and retail realities
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility, theatre and promotional effectiveness

 

Commercial Growth Support

  • Partner closely with EMEA commercial teams on customer presentations and growth initiatives
  • Develop tools that support distribution wins and premiumisation strategies
  • Support pricing, pack and promotional strategies aligned to local market dynamics

 

Execution Excellence & Best Practice

  • Ensure brand guidelines and activation standards are consistently applied
  • Share best‑practice activation examples and performance learnings across markets
  • Monitor in‑market execution and identify opportunities for optimisation

 

Trade Events

  • Support the EMEA Customer Activation Manager in delivering impactful presence at key trade events
  • Ensure event messaging and materials align with brand, channel and customer needs

 

About You

Experience & capability

  • 3–5 years’ experience in customer, shopper or trade marketing
  • Experience working across multiple markets and/or distributor‑led environments
  • Strong understanding of retail and on‑trade activation principles
  • FMCG or drinks industry experience preferred
  • Exposure to emerging or developing markets is an advantage

 

Skills & behaviours

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link marketing activity to business outcomes
  • Confident stakeholder partner, particularly with sales teams
  • Structured thinker who enjoys shaping frameworks, not just executing plans
  • Comfortable working across cultures, markets and varying levels of maturity
  • Curious, solutions‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities at pace
