Production Supervisor / Operator - Hampshire
We are seeking a motivated and practical individual to join our production team in a hands-on role offering genuine opportunities to develop specialist technical expertise and supervisory responsibility.
Working within a modern winery environment, you will gain experience across bottling, labelling, disgorging, and warehousing operations while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of production within a well-established and rapidly growing company at the forefront of the English wine sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical mechanical work, problem-solving, and working within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set-up, operate and monitor bottling, labelling, and disgorging equipment
- Support the planning and execution of daily production runs
- Ensure production quality standards and safety procedures are maintained
- Assist with warehouse organisation and stock movement
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support basic equipment maintenance
- Guide and coordinate small teams of production operators
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
During harvest, you may also work closely with experienced winemakers, gaining valuable hands-on exposure to the winemaking process.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in winery, beer, beverage, food production, manufacturing, or mechanical environments
- Practical and mechanically minded with strong problem-solving ability
- Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
- Comfortable organising and guiding small teams
- Some previous supervisory experience is advantageous
