Role: Business Development Manager (Sales & Marketing Specialist)

Lockdown Liquor & Co. was formed in the midst of a pandemic, creating premium blended cocktails. Since launch, we have grown at pace through D2C sales and now scaling into the On Trade and Off Trade. We are looking for someone to join our energetic, ambitious, and passionate team to manage our key accounts in London and to drive new distribution as we continue to scale.

Role Overview

This role will be responsible for developing and supporting our existing on trade customers as well as driving incremental listings and points of distribution. The successful candidate will develop strong relationships with our On-Trade & wholesale partners to unlock new business. There will also be a strong need for creativity in activations & drinks development, along with excellent communication skills both internal & external to ensure the business delivers top class customer service.

Our Business Development Manager will be a key team player as we continue to drive for success. The passion that they have for our brand and the drive to achieve success is what increases our product sales and placements across the country. They will establish long term relationships with our on-trade clients, ensuring our products are always stocked.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for On-Premise sales & marketing activities for your region.
  • Build & develop long-term relationships our key on trade customers including:

Regional & National wholesale account managers.

General Managers, Bar Managers & Operations Managers

Pub/Bar Group Buyers

Premium retail outlets

  • Build a focused new business target list.
  • Unlock new points of distribution.
  • Own the full sales process from prospecting new accounts, pitching & negotiating commercials to products agreed and stocked.
  • Drive Rate of Sale in our existing accounts.
  • Full ownership of numbers.
  • Develop a network of industry contacts.

Key skills and attributes:

  • 1- 2years commercial or sales experience.
  • A creative, entrepreneurial, and organised mindset.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and be comfortable presenting to large groups.
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills.
  • This is predominantly a field-based role. Office 1-2 days per week.
