National Account Manager eCommerce - UK

Online is a crucial growth area for our brands, so having a tenacious and entrepreneurial National Account Manager for this channel is vital to achieve our ambitions. You will manage our eCommerce customers, including Amazon, maintaining and building our existing business and identifying and developing new opportunities. You will be working with some sensational brands just waiting for the right person to nurture their online presence.

What kind of things will I be doing?

In addition to being the lead on all things eCommerce in our Sales team, you will:

  • Maintain and develop customer relationships to drive further opportunities through incremental sales growth from existing business and new product development opportunities
  • Identify, secure and develop new business in the area
  • Deliver customer specific activities to achieve volume, value, profit and profitability targets
  • Plan, implement, monitor and analyse promotional activity to aid future promotional strategy
  • Ensure a cross-functional approach with marketing, finance, supply chain and wider sales team
  • Set and manage annual financial budgets for each customer internally and externally – full P&L responsibility of area
  • Assess ROI of promotional activity both before and after implementation
  • Be responsible for the monthly forecasting of customer volumes to assist total business planning accuracy
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports, information, insights and recommendations
  • Assist with the key grocers online development

 

What kind of thing have I done before?

You will have experience in the eCommerce channel, preferably in the FMCG world. Amazon experience would be great but not a deal breaker. You will have had exposure to both the day-to-day of managing online accounts, in addition to growing new business.
