ABOUT THE ROLE

The Marketing Manager reports into our Group Director of Marketing & Communications.

This is a unique role giving the opportunity to lead marketing across the full breadth of Daylesford Organic, encompassing retail, hospitality and ecommerce, working closely alongside the other brands within the Bamford Collection.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic brand marketing plans to drive business growth, with a focus on product and campaign marketing, partnerships and retail marketing. The role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, creativity, analytical skills and cross functional leadership

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development and management of the marketing calendar, encompassing key seasonal themes and launches along with supporting key activations for our sister brands.
  • Integrated campaign management – working cross-functionally to ensure key marketing calendar moments are bought to life consistently and flawlessly across all channels and activation methods (working with our creative teams).
  • Brand management – work with the Director and Creative teams to develop and maintain brand guidelines and standards. Monitor brand perception and implement strategies to enhance brand reputation.
  • Market research and analysis: conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitor activities and market opportunities. Conduct research amongst our own customer base, to gain actionable insights into our brands.
  • NPD launch – Identify key assets required for a successful launch and ensure these are delivered to time via the creative team.
  • Retail marketing – identify new opportunities to maximise footfall and build strong working relationships with all farmshop teams.
  • Partnerships: identify potential brand partners who would drive brand awareness and enhance our brand positioning.
  • Support PR by ensuring our PR team are fully briefed on the marketing calendar and aid collation of relevant assets and materials in a timely fashion.
  • Customer experience: ensure the customer experience and community management is best in class and consistent across all touchpoints.
  • B2B marketing – support our wholesale teams with marketing collateral (including presentations) for wholesale business partners at launch and beyond to drive awareness, comprehension and conversion into our brands.
  • Build and manage the marketing budget effectively and within spend, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and negotiating hard to keep costs down and ‘do more with less.

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • 5+ years experience in broad marketing roles
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies and tactics
  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis
  • Solid understanding of branding and brand management
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of regulatory and ethical considerations in marketing
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Senior stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • A love for food, farming and sustainability
