Finance Graduate (fixed term) - London

The Opportunity

We have a fantastic 12-month fixed-term opportunity for someone who has recently completed their undergraduate degree in finance or accounting. This role is ideal for someone wanting to gain valuable experience in a commercial environment, whilst taking their first steps into an accountancy or finance career. We will provide you with on-the-job training and support while you gain exposure to the difference functions of our Finance team.

The role is hybrid with three days per week at our office in Park Royal.

Your unique contribution

This role will work across our whole finance team as required, but key responsibilities include:

  • Posting of expense invoices into the accounting system at month-end
  • Supporting various Supplier and bank reconciliations where necessary
  • Support the Financial Controller with decision-making process reports (including Finance)
  • Support the reviewing and loading of employee expenses into ERP system
  • Working on developing better ways of working within team
  • Supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis team with planning and forecasting tasks

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A recent graduate with a degree finance or accounting (or similar)
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment whist always remaining professional
  • A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to demonstrate a tenacious, pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Able to demonstrate a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Able to organise their own workload and possesses the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent in their time management skills, including working to deadlines whilst remaining calm under pressure
  • Accurate and detail-conscious
  • Tech-savvy with excellent IT skills
