As the nation’s leading pub, cider and beer company and the name behind a host of brilliant brands, we’re looking for equally brilliant people to help us on our journey to building a better future.

There’s so much more to HEINEKEN than meets the eye and right now, we’re looking for an Events & Hospitality Executive to join our On-Trade Sales Support Team!

About the Role
Working closely with the Sales Support & Events Manager, you’ll help plan organise and execute a variety of super exciting events at HEINEKEN UK!

You’ll project manage all of the hospitality and events that are aligned to you, working backwards from a defined “go live” date.

You’re responsible for an agreed calendar of internal sales briefs, conferences, hospitality events and meetings for our sales colleagues and customers, including brand launches and customer planning days. This is an end-to-end management, including the organisation, invitation process and budget management right through to attending the events where required.

Success in this role is making sure our customers or colleagues have an exceptional experience whilst remaining organised and in budget. Speaking of budgets – you’ll have responsibility for the management of budgets for key events, working closely with Senior Leaders and their business areas to ensure these budgets are tracked, allocated and hit.
So, what will you be doing? Here’s some of the key accountabilities;

  • Accountable for the management and delivery of the agreed events calendar.
  • Ensure all customer hospitality is utilised in line with Heineken policies.
  • Publish all hospitality opportunities on the Heineken Events portal to provide full visibility to key stakeholders.
  • Create and drive best practice within hospitality, ensuring high standards are adopted and agreed ways of working become the norm to ensure the best possible customer experience.
  • Maintain a register of all attendees in line with company policy.

About you
This role sounds all glitz and glam, but it takes a lot of work to make these events happen. We’re looking for someone with great project management experience, able to manage both budgets and stakeholders effectively.

If you;

  • Are a naturally organised person.
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Pride yourself on stakeholder management.
  • Have experience with third party or supplier management.
  • Are or have been responsible for a budget.
  • Have successfully managed a project or planned an event.

Then this could be the role for you!

Our Benefits
As part of the team, along with your salary, you’ll also receive;

  • An annual bonus
  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare
  • Double matched pension (up to 10%)
  • 35 days holiday
  • A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers! (low and no alcohol options available)
  • Comprehensive Opportunities to develop.

You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.

The application
If you like what you’ve read and are ready to brew a better career with us, let’s get going! We may close vacancies early where we receive lots of applications, so don’t delay!

As part of your application, please include a covering letter outlining a memorable event that you have organised. This doesn’t need to be in detail, just to get an idea of an event you’re proud of!

If you need any adjustments made to support your application, for example if you require information in different formats, or if you have any accessibility issues, then we’re more than happy to review our processes – please feel free to get in touch with us at [email protected].

You might feel that you don’t meet every single requirement for this role, and that’s okay – we all need the opportunity to develop and untap our full potential. If this advert’s piqued your interest, we’d encourage you to submit an application rather than ruling yourself out. You never know – you may be exactly what we’re looking for!

Who we are
We’re the world’s most international brewer and the name behind a host of brilliant beers and ciders, from Birra Moretti, to Strongbow, to Cruzcampo and many more.

It’s a fantastic time to join us. We’re leading the way in low and no alcohol innovation, pioneering new technologies to meet our ambitious environmental goals and investing in our pubs to keep them at the centre of their communities.

When you join us, we’ll back you to reach your full potential. You’ll enjoy unique development opportunities, unforgettable experiences and a reward package that goes far beyond the salary you receive.
