Customer Supply Manager - London

The Customer Supply Manager serves as the primary operational contact for Customer Supply Teams and BBG’s Commercial and Supply Chain Teams. This role manages daily operations including forecast volumes, promotional and seasonal planning, service performance, and on-shelf availability at customer stores. It involves daily communication with customers and various BBG teams to address changes in demand, supply issues, and other operational concerns. The position acts as a key liaison between BBG’s Commercial and Supply Teams and customer Supply Teams. Additionally, it oversees the Cost To Serve process, seeking opportunities to implement supply chain efficiencies and negotiate mutual cost savings.

The role:

  • Ensure BBG and customer KPIs are agreed, monitored, and achieved through regular reviews and JSP planning sessions.
  • Lead account forecasting with Commercial to align on volume and phasing, supporting key metrics and deadlines.
  • Develop operational relationships with customers to support continuous improvement initiatives and JSP priorities aligned with commercial strategy.
  • Work closely with customer teams and use supporting data to influence changes across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Conduct periodic meetings and planning sessions at the customer head office in London.
  • Maintain weekly contact with Supply and Forecast teams to manage shared KPIs.
  • Understand and recommend solutions for Commercial, Replenishment, Supply, and Inventory issues affecting joint business performance and on-shelf availability.
  • Plan and manage events, NPD, and range changes end-to-end.
  • Lead internal BBG Supply conference calls and communications regarding supply issues, including with BSC and Inventory deployment teams.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • A-level qualification is required, with a preference for a degree or similar experience.
  • 3+ years of similar experience in supply chain within FMCG/retail chain
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and the ability to quickly learn new reporting tools.
  • Good at planning, communicating, and presenting, with the ability to work on your own, interact well with all levels of management, and pay close attention to detail when finding solutions.
  • Adaptable and flexible in handling different work situations, tasks, and team roles, with the ability to anticipate and adjust to changes.
  • Organized and systematic in delivering business solutions, while being a great team player who builds strong relationships, leads by example, and upholds the company’s values.
  • Actively looks for ways to add value by promoting high standards and best practices.
