The role:

Join us, and you’ll be a Brewing Process Engineer for the best beer company in the world. You’ll take the lead from day one, speak your mind, and grow your career faster than you thought possible.

 

You will provide technical support and be the key contact for all business-critical projects within the department.  You will balance the continuous search for new improved ways of working, together with the implementing agreed ways of working to ensure their sustainability, whilst being responsible for the department KPI’s. Deputising for the Brewing Manager

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of implementing systems and ways of working to overachieve on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Supporting department operation performance through daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
  • Leading improvement initiatives including minor projects.
  • Facilitating and managing CAPEX projects within the brewing department on time and in full.
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate standards within the department.
  • Interfacing with equipment and material suppliers.
  • Acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for audits.
  • Ensuring sustainability through the management of documents and training materials.
  • Proactively creating gap plans to achieve budget and KPIs.
  • Providing departmental ownership and leadership.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Holding or studying for the Diploma Master Brewer qualification from the Institute of Brewing.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt accreditation is desirable.
  • Formal business qualifications are advantageous.
  • Experience managing significant changes and issues.
  • Experience in month-end procedures and finance related to brewing (VIC, BOMs, month-end closing, stock count, SAP, PRISM).
