Brand Manager; Food & Beverage & Retail Brand (12 months) - Auchterarder

We’re currently seeking an inspired Brand Manager to lead the dynamic Food & Beverage and Retail marketing efforts at Gleneagles, the iconic countryside estate in Scotland celebrated for its exceptional culinary and retail offerings, as well as its unparalleled hospitality. This role is based at Gleneagles with occasional travel to Edinburgh.

Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • Crafting and executing our annual F&B Marketing Plan to align with our brand objectives and revenue targets
  • Working in close collaboration with our Marketing team and the broader Food & Beverage operations team across the estate
  • Driving the creation of innovative F&B marketing strategies that capture the essence of the Gleneagles brand and elevate our guest experiences
  • Managing and executing captivating marketing strategies for our Retail Arcade, collaborating with our Head of Retail and various fashion outlets to enhance brand visibility and increase foot traffic
  • Overseeing the creation of new F&B or Retail assets, maintaining clear communication between the design agency and internal stakeholders
  • Managing strategic new retail product launches from ideation to completion
  • Tracking our ongoing physical and digital asset changes across the estate, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and standards
  • Spearheading the delivery of brand partnerships and collaborations, expertly leveraging the Retail Arcade and F&B offerings to craft synergistic marketing opportunities
  • Ensuring seamless communication between the estate’s Food & Beverage and Retail teams and the Marketing team; curating updates and key information to align messaging and strategic initiatives.
  • Harnessing internal data insights to inform creative strategies and proactively generating innovative campaign ideas
  • Staying abreast of market trends and competitor activities, always ensuring our F&B marketing initiatives remain relevant and effective
  • Working hand-in-hand with our PR, Content, and CRM teams to meet creative needs for F&B campaigns, including photography and copywriting
  • Coordinating with our Guest Experience and Events teams to plan and execute F&B brand experiences that perfectly align with marketing plans; maximising Event exposure in partnership with PR and Content teams
  • Managing budget allocation based on KPIs to optimise marketing performance and creative impact
  • Overseeing digital content requirements across our website, paid media, and social channels, ensuring alignment with F&B marketing strategies
  • Engaging with agencies, brand partners, and internal teams to foster strong working relationships
  • Tracking and analysing performance metrics to ensure accountability for ROI
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

The kind of person we’re looking for:

  • You’ve have fantastic experience in Brand or Category Management within the F&B or hospitality sector
  • Experienced in collaborating with creative stakeholders and managing F&B marketing initiatives, you have an outstanding ability in independently developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans
  • Your passion for all things F&B and hospitality is clear and you’re committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Swiftly adapting to business needs, you respond to ad-hoc, often short notice, briefs with agility and creativity
  • Your stakeholder management skills are well honed, and you’re agile in adapting to constantly changing environments
  • Curious and adaptable, you’re comfortable and proactive in your approach to challenging the status quo
  • Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you’re passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
  • You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you’re well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
